Stay informed on our latest news!

Thanks to Cpl. Phil Gilbert for updating our events page. I'm updating it again. Now, each event has its own page, with a link to Google Maps so you can explore the site and get customized driving directions. I will update these pages with more detailed info about each event as we get closer.
The events page also has a new "tab" with a single map showing all the sites. Cool, huh? Future plans include adding another tab with a calendar.
The 2012 season has begun! We had another great event at the Fort. To those who didn't make it, you were missed.
The good news: we've got a couple events coming up in March, including our first shooting event of the year! I've got election results below, and some more news.
The event is on March 3rd in the town of Benicia. We would like to see if we can have 40 Union troopers attend, new reenactors are encouraged. It is requested that all attendees please arrive at 9 AM. The event starts at 10AM. Bringing a lunch in your haversack is suggested. There are efforts to obtain lunch discounts from local restaurants, we hope to have more on this shortly.
********Is it requested that each attendee RVSP to Provost Sgt Gray at acwargray@gmail.com and direct any questions to him.

Greetings one and all, and Erin go braugh!
There are only two weeks left in 2011. If you get your membership forms in before the new year, the unit gets a bonus! I'm attaching the new 2012 form. If you know you're coming back, you really may as well do it now. I'm attaching the new 2012 form so there's no excuse!
Thanks to everyone who came out to Fresno, I think a good time was had by all. Greetings to our new guy, Brandon, who took the field for the first time.
This marks the end of my first season as captain. We lost a lot of great people, but we got a bunch of new guys who are off to a great start. The reason I keep coming back is because of the great people in the 69th and that has not changed.
The fun's not over. We've got several events coming up, plus elections, and an update on the trailer (see below).
It is my pleasure to remain,
The second Alcatraz event of the year has come and gone. As usual, the rangers opened up even more to us, including some Civil War-era casemates and the parade ground. Also, they shared some salacious new tidbits about the Birdman.
